Connecting the extension units
Up to 5 extension units can be connected to a single recorder. Use the dedicated connection cable (provided with the extension unit)
to connect between the external storage (EXT STORAGE) connector at the rear of the recorder and an extension unit.
When connecting multiple extension units (WJ-HDE400) or when adding extension units, connect as follows. Refer also to the operat-
ing instructions of the extension unit.
Important:
• Use only the connection cable provided with the extension unit when connecting the recorder and the extension unit.
• Fix the connection cable with the cable clamp provided with the extention unit to prevent disconnection or an unstable connec

tion that may cause recording failures or an unstable system.
• Do not wind the cable in a coil.
