Settings
[HDMI SIGNAL LEVEL]
You can switch the setting when the projector is
connected to an external equipment via HDMI cable
and the image is not projected correctly.
1) Press

to select [HDMI SIGNAL
LEVEL].

to switch [HDMI SIGNAL
LEVEL].

Select when the HDMI terminal
and DVI-D output terminal of an
external equipment (computer,
etc.) is connected to the <HDMI
IN 1>/<HDMI IN 2> terminal of
the projector using a conversion
cable, etc.

terminal of an external equipment
(DVD player, etc.) is connected
to the <HDMI IN 1>/<HDMI IN 2>
terminal of the projector.

The optimal setting is different depending on the
output setting of the connected external equipment.
Refer to the instruction manual of the external
equipment regarding the output of the external
equipment.

Set the closed caption display as follows.
1) Press

CAPTION SETTING].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.

Set whether or not to display the closed caption.

The setting will change as follows each time you
press the button.

When you set the function to [ON], a confirmation
message [If the input matches the CC type
selected,] [the SECURITY TEXT/LOGO will not be
displayed.]appears. Select [OK] or [CANCEL] and
press the <ENTER> button. You cannot set [ON] if
[CANCEL] is selected.

Hides the closed caption.

Displays the closed caption.

Selects a closed caption mode.

The closed caption is a function mainly used in the
north America, and it shows the text information
contained in the image signal. Closed captions may
not be displayed on some devices or contents.
z
Security messages set in the [SECURITY] menu
→
[DISPLAY SETTING] (
page 74) are not displayed
when the closed caption signal of the selected
mode is input.
z
Part of characters may not be displayed when high
compensation values are set in [KEYSTONE].
z
Closed captions are not displayed while the menu
screen is displayed.
