The discs you create with this drive and DVD-MovieAlbumSE 3 follow the DVD Forum’s video
recording standards and can be played on DVD players that can play DVD-RAM and that follow
the video recording standard and on compatible DVD-ROM and DVD-RAM drives. However, play
is not guaranteed on any of these.
You will need software to enable play of video recordings on DVD-RAM and DVD-ROM drives.

The DVD-R (for General) or DVD-RW you create with this drive and MyDVD
4 follow the DVD

Video CD format CD-R and CD-RW discs made using a combination of this drive and MyDVD

can be played back using equipment compatible with CD-R and CD-RW playback and Video CD
Ver.2.0. However, we cannot guarantee playback for all equipment.

DVD-RAM discs made using this drive and B’s Recorder GOLD5 BASIC become read only media
thereafter (see page 18).

Playing discs recorded with Panasonic DVD Recorders
•
You cannot use DVD-MovieAlbumSE 3 to play recordings of programs that allow one copy to be
made (such as some CATV and satellite broadcasts). Play them on compatible DVD Recorders.
•
Use the DVD-MovieAlbum copy tool to copy DVD-RAM discs. You cannot copy recordings of
programs that allow only one copy to be made.
•
Use “CD/DVD Copy” in B’s Recorder GOLD5 BASIC to copy DVD-R discs. You cannot copy
video that has copyright protection.
