MyDVD

MyDVD
4 uses the following data formats to produce and record DVD-Video data including menus:
MPEG files outputted by a MPEG2 encoder board which have been tested to confirm they work and
MPEG moving picture files exported using DVD-MovieAlbumSE 3 and DV format AVI files.
It is also possible to produce Video CD Ver.2.0.
Write DVD-Video format data directly to DVD-R or DVD-RW
You can directly write DVD-Video format image data as a disc image to DVD-R (for General) or DVD-
RW. Also, by saving the authoring data to a DVD-RAM or hard disk, you can reedit the images or
perform play tests.
Importing pictures directly from DV camera
It is possible to import pictures directly from DV Camera and produce a Video Recording Format DVD-
RAM disc.
However, the “DV Camera Capture” function is available only on Windows 98SE or later versions
(cannot be used with Windows 98).
Easy creation of interactive DVD menus
You can easily create menus that allow you to select parts to watch, just like commercial DVDs. DVD
contents are simple to make with drag and drop operations.
When you import MPEG 2 files from DVD-MovieAlbumSE 3, the play list and program titles are also
imported. These titles can then be output as a text file for use when you make DVD menu screens.
Check operation of DVD menus in the editing window
Before writing to a DVD-R, you can check menu operation and playability.
