Advanced Operation

Setting the Key Lock 

You can lock all the buttons and the navigator key of the cordless handset.
Only incoming calls are accepted until the key lock is canceled.
Make sure that the cordless handset is in the
standby mode.
Press and hold 

(FUNCTION)

until a short beep

sounds.

To cancel the key lock, press and hold

allows you to use special features of your host PBX such

as transferring an extension call or accessing special telephone services
(optional) such as call waiting.

Selecting the flash time for each line 

The flash time depends on your telephone exchange or host PBX. You can
select from flash times: “700, 600, 400, 300, 250, 110, 100 or 90 ms
(milliseconds)”. Your phone comes from the factory set to “700 ms”. 
Make sure that the base unit is in the standby mode.
