System Password
Description
Assigns the password required for entering System Programming mode and for maintenance
from a personal computer.
Warning
The dealer should take care with the system password:
a)
Please thoroughly instruct the importance of the password and the dangers involved to
the customer.
b)
Please maintain the secrecy of the password.
If discovered by a "hacker", he can proceed to commit toll fraud with the PBX.
c)
Please change the password often.
d)
We strongly recommend that you set the system password to 7 digits for maximum
protection against "hackers".
e)
We strongly recommend that the dealer backs up the system data after the password is
changed. In the event the password is forgotten, it can be recovered from the system
data. If the system data is not available, regrettably, the system must be Default Cleared
and the system must be programmed from scratch.

The password can be from four to seven digits long. The valid numbers are from
0 through
9.
