* In this case, the FLASH/RECALL button on a proprietary telephone must be set to Flash/
Recall mode through system programming.

During a three-party conversation, pressing the TRANSFER button or Recall/hookswitch
alternates between the other parties in the conversation.
•
You can have a conference with a maximum of eight parties (comprising intercom or outside
lines) simultaneously.
•
During a conversation involving four or more parties, you cannot disconnect one party and
maintain the conversation with the other parties.
•
Non-KX-UT series SIP phone users cannot originate a conference call, but can be added as
a member.
•
When a KX-UT series SIP phone or S-PS user originates a conference call and one of the
other parties leaves the conference, the KX-UT series SIP phone or S-PS user will still be
able to talk to the remaining party but will not be able to hold the call.

Create or edit a Conference button.
Leaving a Conference (Unattended Conference)
The person who originated a conference can leave the conference, and allow the
other parties to continue the conversation.
•
KX-UT series SIP phone and S-PS users: If you originated a conference, you cannot leave
the conference and allow the other parties to continue the conversation. When you go on-
hook, the conference is terminated and the other parties are disconnected.
