Configuring automatic control of the gas valve

Gas Cfg
. The Gas Flow Configuration
page opens.

Select a Heater Target Table to be used for controlling the valve.

Tap
Valve Gearing
and enter the required value. See

If required, adjust the
TES
value.

If required, adjust the
TVES
value.

If required, adjust the
Min Gas Flow (%)
value to define a minimum opening
position for the needle valve.

Home
to return to the Home page.

Testing the inputs and outputs

Switch on the iTC.

Testing the temperature sensor inputs

Check that the temperature displayed on each of the connected temperature
sensors is correct.
5.5.2
Testing the heater output

Tap
Control
on the Home page. The Control Loop Configuration page is displayed.

Select the required temperature-sensor in the
Sensor
field.

Set the
Heat
field to
Auto
.

Tap
Set (K)
.

Enter a setpoint that is slightly above the temperature displayed by the sensor.

Tap
Home
to return to the Home page.

Check that the heater power displayed in the relevant panel is greater than 0%.

Check that the temperature displayed in the panel rises to the setpoint value and
then stabilises.
9
Test the heater at various setpoint values.
