DIAGNOSTICS
POWER ON DIAGNOSTICS
Press the | side of the power ON/OFF switch located at
the left rear of the printer.
DAØ-SA
The following cycle occurs during normal power on. It takes
approximately 10 seconds. When complete, On Line is displayed, and
the printer is ready to accept data. If the printer fails any portion of this
sequence, document the step that failed and call customer service. (See
Servicing, Page 58.)

Printer beeps once
•
All indicators light briefly, POWER remains on
•
Diagnostic Test in Progress is displayed
•
Printheads move to the left
•
ON LINE indicator lights and remains on
•
On Line is displayed
MENU DIAGNOSTICS
Test print and hex dump print 8” (A4 DIN) or 13.2” wide, depending on the
paper width menu option setting (see Page 38). The factory default
setting is 8”.
