EMULATIONS/SETUPS ASSIGNED
When you turn the printer on, it sets iteslf up according to a pre-assigned
setup. This setup (called the default setup) can be either SETUP #1, #2,
#3, or #4. It is normally SETUP #1.
CHANGING SETUPS
When the printer is turned on, the default setup becomes the active setup.
The printer always operates from the active setup which you can change.
When you press a SETUP key, the active setup changes to reflect this
new setting. Also, a command from a host computer can change the
active setup.
Setups #1, #2, #3, and #4 are stored in permanent memory. The active
setup is stored in temporary memory. Using the menu, you can modify
any of these setups.
