Permanent Changes
Permanent memory is technically called “non-volatile” memory, or
NVRAM. This type of memory retains information even when printer
power is OFF.
Setup 1-4 changes are reflected every time you press a SETUP key. If
the printer is turned OFF/ON the changes still exist.
Temporary Changes
Active setup changes are active only until you press a SETUP key or until
changed by the host computer. Such an action will override the old active
setup and install a new active setup. If the printer is turned OFF/ON,
these active setup changes are lost.
MENU MAP
PRINTED MENU
The menu illustrations in this manual show the user menu from the
keypad entry/display readout viewpoint. The complete menu can be
printed if you desire a bird’s-eye view.
To print the complete menu, follow the Help Menu path to the Print All
Opts selection (See page 30).
