Water isn’t boiling
The device is unplugged. Plug in the device

water supply by pressing button.

When using new device or after a long break, a
slight plastic smell may be felt.
Boil and pour water for several times.
Your water is heavily chlorinated: by boiling the
smell intensifies

When the surrounding temperature is high while
boiling and maintaining the temperature at 85 or
98° C, the device’s body can reach temperatures
higher than 65° C
If the temperature of the body is near
65° C it is normal.
LED-display and unlock
indication are flashing

Automatic protection is triggered : water level is
below minimum (see Automatic lock).
Add cold water and press
button.

Countdown will start automatically and display will show
remaining time before start.

After the countdown, the device will start boiling water.

To cancel the timer, press button a few times until
“00:00”
is displayed.

Hard water can leave scale in the device. Use special
cleaners for descaling. Follow the instructions of the used
detergent. Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners.
• Fill the device halfway with water.
• For every 2 cups of water, add 6 tablespoons of white
vinegar 8%.
• Bring to a boil.
• Repeat the procedure if necessary.
• Unplug it.
• Allow the device to cool.

• Open the lid under 45

• Press the fixator behind and pull the lid as shown in the
picture.
• Remove the lid.
• Rinse the device twice with cold water, Pic. D-2.
Wipe the device’s body with a damp cloth. In order
to prevent electrical shock do not immerse the
entire product or the wires into the water.
• Thoroughly dry all the parts of the device.
• Set the lid back, you will hear a click sound, Pic. D-3.
