Reset
Pushbutton
The
reset
pushbutton
is
recessed
on
the
front
panel
of
the
SMLC.
Pressing
the
reset
pushbutton
will
reset
the
processor
causing
motors
to
be
disabled
and
the
SMLC
to
reboot.
Resetting
is
a
satisfactory
alternative
to
power
cycling
the
SMLC
after
performing
an
SMLC
firmware
upgrade.
System
Card
The
System
Card
is
a
Compact
Flash
format
storage
device
that
contains
the
operating
system,
SMLC
firmware,
SMLC
settings
such
as
Ethernet
IP
addresses
as
well
as
the
user
application
and
data.
The
system
card
may
be
transferred
from
SMLC
to
SMLC
or
even
pre
‐
programmed
and
sent
to
a
remote
location.
IMPORTANT
NOTE:
SMLC
hardware
rev2
requires
SMLC
firmware
v2.6.0
or
later.
If
you
insert
a
card
with
firmware
prior
to
v2.6.0
into
a
rev2
SMLC
it
will
not
finish
the
boot
process.
It
will,
however,
boot
enough
so
that
the
firmware
may
be
upgraded
using
the
SMLC
upgrade
utility
in
ServoWire
Pro
.
