7 Settings
This section covers the selection and settings of driver functions.
The various switches provided on the driver’s front panel allow for the setting of resolution, pulse input mode, current
level and speed filter.
Resolution select switches
Pulse input mode select switch
Current setting switch
Speed-filter select switch
Always set the resolution and pulse input mode after turning off the power. The new settings will
become effective when the power is turned on again.
7-1 Resolution
Use the resolution select switches “1000/500” and “×1/×10” to set the lineard motor resolution.
Factory settings: [500] (500 P/R)

Be sure to set the resolution select switch to “×1” when “×10 input” is used. If the switch is set to “×10,”
“×10” input becomes invalid.
7-2 Pulse input modes
Either the 2-pulse or 1-pulse input mode may be selected in accordance
with the controller used.
When the lineard motor is to be controlled through the DIR.-A input and
DIR.-B input, set the pulse input mode select switch to [2P] (2-pulse input
mode).
When the lineard motor is to be controlled through the pulse input and the
direction of movement input, set the pulse input mode select switch to [1P]
(1-pulse input mode).

The factory setting of the pulse-input mode depends on the destination country. Check the pulse-
input mode setting in accordance with the pulse mode in the controller used.
