Inspection

It is recommended that periodic inspections be conducted for the items listed below after each operation of the
lineard motor. If an abnormal condition is noted, discontinue any use and contact your nearest Oriental Motor office.

During inspection

•

Are any of the lineard motor mounting screws loose?

•

Is there any noise from the ball bearing of the lineard motor or the meshing part with the rack?

•

Is the rack sufficiently greased?

•

Is there any gap along the rack that has increased?

•

Are there any scratches, signs of stress or loose driver connections in the motor cable?

•

Are any of the load mounting screws loose?

•

Check for a blocked opening of the driver case.

•

Are any of the driver mounting screws or power-connection terminal screws loose?

•

Are there any strange smells or appearances in the power elements and filtering capacitors within the driver?

The driver uses semiconductor elements, so be extremely careful when handling them. Static
electricity may damage the driver.
