
Chapter 3 - How to...
A 3V Lithium coin battery is embedded in the hardware for the device and does not require to be changed by
users. If there is a problem, please contact your Optos representative, see
3.4.8.5 Cable management
WARNING
Do not plug the scan head into a power block or powered table. The scan head must be
plugged directly into a wall socket.
To prevent electric shock:
l
Only use cables supplied by Optos.
l
Cables should not be extended or altered.
l
Mains supply must be earthed.
l
The device may only be serviced by Optos trained personnel.
l
Care must be taken never to touch exposed parts of the device while in physical
contact with a patient.
If the mains cable is damaged do not use the system and contact your Optos
representative, see

You must regularly inspect the equipment. If there is any damage please contact your
Optos representative, see
Ensure the mains socket is easily accessible.

disabled.
Failure of the system self-test
disables capture.
Open the diagnostics page and run the self-test
feature.
Cannot access the
user login list on the
scan head.
Password error, image server
is not switched on or scan
head is not configured with
the correct image server IP
address.
Check your user name and password, see

Check the image server network address and ensure
the scan head is on the same network and configured
to connect to the correct address.
