18.3.4.3. WRS (Dynamic IP Registration Sever)
If user registers i-Rec in WRS (Dynamic IP address registration server) managed by WEBGATE, user
will be free from inconvenience. Since user can not know exact dynamic IP address at every moment,
user needs something such as WRS that can give IP address of DVR.
- Registration
Interval
: Sets time interval when dynamic IP address is registered in WRS. If IP address is
changed frequently, user had better set interval 1minute.
(1minute /1hour /3hour /6hour /12hour /24hour)
- Server Address : IP address of WRS that is managed by WebGate is “www.webgateinc.com”. User
should input its IP address if user designates other server.
- Group ID : Selects group where DVR will be registered.

Dynamic IP registration is necessary in case of as follows.
- In case of using DHCP in ethernet
- In case of using xDSL (except static IP address)
