In some cases, lag between Pd and Pa can be experienced due to the two pressure curves coming from
two different sources (Cathlab Hemodynamic System/aortic transducer for Pa vs OptoWire for Pd). This
lag can be corrected using the Pd Delay button.
1-
Press the “plus” button once to increase the Pd delay by 8 ms
2-
Return to live feed, check to see if Pa and Pd curves are more in sync
3-
Return to settings screen
4-
If delay was accidentally set too high, press the “minus” button once to decrease the Pd delay by
8 ms.
5-
Repeat the process of increasing/decreasing Pd delay by 8 ms until Pa and Pd curves are
perfectly in sync.
