Transmitting an Individual Acknowledgement

Quick ACK:

When  receiving  an  Individual  call,  you  can  transmit  an 
acknowledgement  (‘Able  to  comply’  or  ‘Unable  to  comply’)  by  using 
the  on  screen  prompts  (Quick  ACK).  Also,  you  can  send  an 
acknowledgement through the menu system (Manual ACK).

After an individual call is received, press [CLR] to stop the beeps, then 
press [ENT]. (Go to Step 4 below).

Manual ACK:

1. Press [MENU] to enter the DSC menu.
2. Press [▲] or [▼] to select “INDV ACK”, then press [ENT].
          “INDV ACK” appears after receiving an individual call.

3. Press [▲] or [▼] to select a desired individual address or ID code, 
    then press [ENT].

4. Press [▲] or [▼] to select the acknowledgement “ABLE” or 
    “UNABLE”, then press [ENT].
         “UNABLE” selected for “No Reason Given”.
          After pressing [ENT], Channel 70 is automatically selected and 
         “READY” appears in the channel comment display.

Receiving an Individual Call

5. Press [ENT] to transmit the ackonledgement call.

6. After the individual acknowledgement call has been transmitted, 
    the specified channel (specified by the calling station) is 
    automatically selected when “ABLE” is selected. When “UNABLE” 
    is selected, the display returns to the previous screen (before 
    entering the DSC menu).

When an individual call is received:
1. The emergency alarm or beeps sound depending on the received     
    category, press [CLR] to stop the alarm or beeps.
2.  “DSC” appears and “RCV INDIVIDUAL” scrolls in the channel 
     comment display.
3. Press [ENT] to reply the call and select the specified communication 
    channel; Press [CLR] to ignore the call.
