6.1.5 Programmable signal inputs
The UPS system has two programmable signal inputs:

One signal input in the RS-232
communication interface (Pin 3).
Select „SETTINGS“, „USER SETTINGS“, „SIGNAL INPUTS“
and then „RS232-3“.

One signal input over the optional relay card respectively the
AS400-Interface, see
Slot for Interface Cards .
Select „SETTINGS“, „USER SETTINGS“, „SIGNAL INPUTS“
and then
„XRCARD SIGNAL“.
For the position of the interfaces, see Figure 10.
Signal Description
"Not Used" The input only functions as serial input (RxD) or has no function.
Note: With xRCard signal und using a SNMP adapter, this option
must be enabled.
"Force By-
pass" UPS is switched in bypass mode.
"Remote
Shutdown" UPS is switched after a defined time "Remote Shutdown Delay" in
standby mode.
The UPS system will not automatically switch in the normal mode,
when the main power returns.
“Delayed
Shutdown
”
(and restart)
UPS is switched after a defined time "Delayed Shutdown Delay" in
standby mode.
The UPS system will automatically switch in the normal mode,
when the main power returns.
" On Gene-
rator"
UPS is switched unsynchronized to bypass mode.
"Building
alarm 1" UPS generates the "Building alarm 1" warning message.

"high" Active state of the high potential (+UDC)
