NOTE
Depending on the load at the UPS system and the number of
connected battery modules, the "Battery Low" warning mes-
sage may already be displayed before the batteries have
reached a charge state of 25% (see "Bridging time table" un-
der
Technical Data ).
If the mains power supply returns after shutdown of the UPS system,
the UPS system will restart automatically.
4.2.3 Bypass mode
In the event of an overload or an internal fault, the UPS system
switches this over to the mains power supply. The battery mode is
not available and the consumers are not protected. However, the
mains current continues to be filtered passively by the UPS system.
The display
lights up.
The UPS system remains in bypass mode for at least 5 seconds
(provided the quality of the bypass source remains acceptable).
If bypass mode is switched to three times within 10 min. without this
having been caused by a manual command from the user, the UPS
system remains locked in bypass mode for one hour or until a button
is pressed.
The UPS system will switch to bypass mode under the following
conditions:

If the user activates the bypass mode via the control panel

If the UPS system detects an internal fault

If the UPS system is overheated

If the UPS system exhibits an overload state
NOTE
The UPS shuts down after a prespecified time delay if an
overload event occurs (see "Electrical output power table"
under
Technical Data ).
