3.6 Commissioning
NOTE
Make sure that the total nominal power of all connected
devices does not exceed the capacity of the UPS system.
1. If optional battery modules are being installed, ensure that
these are connected to the UPS system (see Connecting the
battery modules/ tower or rack model).
2. Connect the devices to be protected by the UPS system with-
out switching on the devices.
3. Ensure proper attachment and tension relief of the cables.
4. Plug the power cable of the UPS system into an outlet
(included in the scope of supply with 3000VA model).
The LCD display on the front cover of the UPS system lights
up and displays the ONLINE logo.
5. Press the button on the front cover of the UPS system for
at least one second. The display shows the status "UPS start-
ing".
6. If the display of the UPS system displays active warning mes-
sages, rectify these problems before you proceed with com-
missioning the system (see
Troubleshooting ).
If the display lights up, only proceed after all warning mes-
sages have been rectified. Check the status of the UPS sys-
tem on the display and observe all warning messages. Rectify
these and restart the UPS system, if necessary.
7. Ensure that the display lights up continuously. This will
show that the UPS system is working in normal mode and
connected loads are being provided with power.
