Settings for using the USB recording media equipped with password function for the first time
If DP2-AVS (Antivirus software license) (optional) is enabled, it is restricted
to run the executable program (file with the extension ”.exe”) on DP2-AOU.
The program to unlock the password of the recording media equipped
with the password function such as USB flash drive, etc. does not run.
Therefore, when using the recording media for the first time, you need
to register the program to unlock the password in DP2-AVS as a self
certificate.
Prior to performing the procedures described below, connect the
recording media equipped with the password function to the USB
connector of DP2-AOU.
The keyboard and the mouse must be connected for
registering the executable program.
While the camera control software is running and the live image or the
acquired image is displayed, press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Insert] of the keyboard.
The Windows

desktop is displayed.
Double-click the [DP2-AVS-Accessory] icon on the desktop.

installed on DP2-AOU are limited
only for this system.
Press the [Register USB Device] button A to display the dialog box,
select the drive where the recording media equipped with password
function inserted to the USB connector of DP2-AOU is connected, and
select the program that unlocks the password (file with the extension
“.exe”) from the recording media equipped with password function.
When the settings are completed, double-click the [Camera] icon on
the desktop.
