Adjusting the image quality
Select the [Acquisition] tab A .
If the setting items of [Camera] are not displayed, press B to open
them.

Press the [Camera Settings] button C .

If the setting items of [Adjustment] are not displayed, press D to
open them.
Select the following items from the list in [RGB color/grayscale] E .
Item
Function
[RGB color] The true color image is acquired from the camera.
[Grayscale]
The grayscale image is acquired from the camera.
Move the bar in F to adjust the image quality.

Function
[Sharpness] You can enhance the outline of the image. (When
the value is increased, the edge is enhanced, but
the image noise may be increased.)
[Contrast]
You can adjust the color depth of the image. (When
the value is larger than 1, the image color becomes
deeper and when the value is smaller than 1, the
image color becomes lighter.)
[Brightness] You can adjust the brightness of the image evenly.
(When the value is smaller than 0, the entire image
becomes darker evenly. When the value is larger
than 0, the entire image becomes brighter evenly.)
[Gamma]
You can apply the brightness difference to the
image. (When the value is larger than 1, you can
apply the brightness difference to the dark area and
the entire image becomes brighter. (When the value
is smaller than 1, you can apply the brightness
difference to the bright area and the entire image
becomes darker.)
Press the [Close Camera Settings] button.
