Spark protection plate (Olsberg recommendation)
ū Olsberg recommends using a sturdy and non-flammable spark
protection plate with flammable floors or carpets.
ū The spark protection plate should protrude forwards by 50 cm
and 30 cm to the sides around the combustion chamber open-
ing here.
ū No spark protection plate is required under the pellet stove and
under the exhaust pipe.
Humidity and living space temperatures
ū The pellet fireplace is designed for operation in living spaces
with normal humidity and living space temperatures of +5 °C to
+25 °C (ambient temperature during operation). Safety devices
may come into effect during operation at higher temperatures.
Please observe the appropriate information concerning heating
operation here.
Splash protection
ū The pellet fireplace does not have splash protection and may not
be placed in wet rooms.
Installation surface
ū The installation surface must be even, horizontal and sufficient-
ly load-bearing.
Combustion air supply
ū The pellet fireplace can optionally be operated with an open flue
or a balanced flue.
●
If the pellet fireplace is operated with an open flue, take care to
ensure that the cross section of the combustion air line is not less
than D = 60 mm so that the pellet fireplace is supplied with suf-
ficient combustion air!
Chimney dimensions
The chimney dimensions are in accordance with DIN EN 13384 2
and in accordance with the country-specific regulations.
Nominal heat output
6,0 kW
Exhaust mass flow
4,9 g/s
Exhaust temperature at the nozzle
182,0 °C
Minimum pump pressure at nominal heat output
5,0 Pa
●
If the pump pressures are too high (> 20 Pa), then you should set
up pump pressure limitation (e.g. draft regulator in the chimney)!
●
Set the required pump pressure at the exhaust gas outlet to 0 Pa
for the chimney calculation!
Multiple use of the chimney is possible with special approval
(contact the district master chimney sweep).
The chimney must correspond to a temperature class soot fire resist-
ance of at least T400.
Warning! Serious personal injury and environmental
damage owing to hazardous combustion gases!
Combustion gases in the installation room which occur as a
result of a blocked chimney are dangerous. The chimney, con-
nector and flue gas tract must be free from obstructions and
cleaned in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Only permitted fuels may be used!

Installing the exhaust pipe
●
Fit the pipe lining (on site) into the chimney!
The connection height can be determined individually, but
should not exceed 1.5 m from the connection.
●
Make sure there is a distance of at least 95 mm between the flue
pipe and flammable elements!
●
Plug the exhaust pipe (on site) into the pellet fireplace’s Ø 80 mm
connection!
●
Push the pellet fireplace into the intended place of installation
and adjust the pellet fireplace such that the exhaust pipe fits into
the pipe lining (see also the subsection: “Adjusting the pellet fire-
place with the height-adjustable feet”)!
●
The exhaust pipe connection must be sealed.
