INTENDED
USE
The
machine
is
designed
and
intended
to
be
used
after
assembly
onto
a
combine
harvester
for
harvesting
corn/sunflowers.
The
machine
is
mechanically
driven
and
hydraulically
and
electrically
powered
by
the
combine
harvester
.
During
operation,
the
workspace
is
the
cabin
of
the
combine
harvester.

be

the

MACHINE
OPERATION
The
use
of
this
machine
requires
connection
to
the
drive
vehicle
via
a
PTO
shaft.
The
operator
works
from
the
cabin
of
the
vehicle
on
which
the
machine
is
mounted
and
from
which
the
operator
can
(and
must)
issue
all
the
commands
needed
for
the
intended
use
of
the
corn
head.
No
other
operators
are
envisaged
or
required
in
positions
othe
than
the
cabin
mentioned
above.
Machine
operation
consists
in
"taking"
the
plant
and
dragging
it
downwards
through
a
pair
of
stalk
rollers
installed
on
each
row.
The
cob
of
corn
is
separated
from
the
plant
and
dragged
towards
the
bottom
of
the
machine
where
the
screw
conveyor
collects
the
product.
OPERATOR
INTERACTIONS
WITH
THE
MACHINE:
From
the
cabin
of
the
combine
harvester,
the
operator
is
able
to
perform
the
following
tasks:
‐
folding
lateral
rows
(depending
on
model)
‐
setting
speed
(depending
on
combine
harvester
models)
‐
starting
and
stopping
mechanical
transmission,
‐
lifting/lowering
the
corn
head.
The
other
operations
carried
out
by
the
operator
are:
‐
loading/unloading
equipment
‐
maintenance
‐
cleaning
