restore
tension,
reset
the
extension
spring
to
L

Check
the
unit
activation
box
chain
wear,
reset
its
tension.
The
chain
should
be
replaced
when
the
measurement
alonga
straight,
tight
line
of
ten
pins
is
greater
than
236
mm;
immediate
replacement
may
guarantee
minimum
pinion
wear.
To
restore
tension:
‐
Remove
the
inspection
cover
(1).
‐
Unscrew
the
nut
(2)
of
the
tensioning
device.
‐
Move
the
tightening
device
(3)
towards
the
chain
under
moderate
pressure.
‐
Check
the
tension
on
the
part
of
the
chain
opposite
(4)
to
the
tightening
device,
which
must
have
a
swing
of
12mm
±
2.
‐
Tighten
the
nut
(2)
of
the
support
to214
Nm
‐
Reinstall
the
inspection
cover
(1)
IMPORTANT:
a
chain
that
is
too
tight
will
cause
excessive
wear
of
the
chain
itself.
