restore
tension,
reset
the
extension
spring
to

the
unit
activation
box
chain
wear,
reset
its
tension.
The
chain
should
be
replaced
when
the
measurement
alonga
straight,
tight
line
of
ten
pins
is
greater
than
236
mm;
immediate
replacement
may
guarantee
minimum
pinion
wear.
To
restore
tension:
‐
Remove
the
inspection
cover
(1).
‐
Unscrew
the
nut
(2)
of
the
tensioning
device.
‐
Move
the
tightening
device
(3)
towards
the
chain
under
moderate
pressure.
‐
Check
the
tension
on
the
part
of
the
chain
opposite
(4)
to
the
tightening
device,
which
must
have
a
swing
of
12mm
±
2.
‐
Tighten
the
nut
(2)
of
the
support
to214
Nm
‐
Reinstall
the
inspection
cover
(1)
IMPORTANT:
a
chain
that
is
too
tight
will
cause
excessive
wear
of
the
chain
itself.
