Replacing
the
deck
plates
1.
Remove
all
the
shields
and
the
gathering
chains.

Remove
screw

the
deck
plates
and
replace
them
with
the
new
ones.
Adjusting
the
deck
plates.
To
properly
adjust
the
deck
plates,
make
sure
that
the
level
reaches
30/40
mm,
as
shown
in
the
image.
If
this
distance
is
not
available,
open
or
close
the
front
of
the
row
group.

The
deck
plates
must
have
an
opening
between
3
and
5
mm
wider
at
the
back
than
at
the
front.

The
minimum
opening
(at
rest)
is
10/25mm
(18

22
mm
recommended)
and
it
may
be
modified
by
turning
the
diamond
‐
shaped
device
located
on
top
of
the
plate
lever.

The
maximum
opening
(when
workingis
30/50

turning

diamond
‐
shaped
device
located
at
the
bottom
of
the
plate

the

adjusted

by
loosening
the
counter

tightening

screw,
the
motion
of
the
plate
will
be
"harder";
on
the
contrary,
by
loosening
the
screw,
the
motion
of
the
plate
will
be
less
"hard".
