4.2.2.3 Removing ADF PCBA

(1) Gently open the ADF top cover.
(2) Remove the two screws(black)

to remove the cover-gear

(3) Remove the two screws(black)

(4) Turn the lever

in the direction of the arrow to put the frame Assembly

and the paper tray

upright.

(5) Remove the two screws(black)

(6) Restore the frame Assembly

and the paper tray

in their original positions.

(7) Release the frame Assembly

from the hook near its support point on each side of the

scanner to remove the Assembly and the paper tray

(8) Remove the two screws(black)

to remove the ground wire

(9) Unplug all the connectors and remove the ADF PCBA
