(1) Open the ADF top cover. (See sub 4.2.2.1)
(2) As in the figure under, projection of the rubber pad-release P/Nl is hooked to the pad.

(3) After pushing down the rabber pad-release P/N in direction of arrow (A), it pulls in direction

of arrow (B), removes the pad.
