INITIAL ANALYSIS
Inspect the following components.
• Fan Assy (PL9.1.7)
• Harness Assy LVPS (J28-J281) (PL10.1.5)
• PWBA HKB26 MCU (PL10.1.13)
• PWBA HKB PS (PL10.1.17)
Are they compatible with your printer version, correctly
installed, not damaged, deformed, or contaminated?
Go to step 2 Replace the

FAN ASSY (PL9.1.7) POWER ANALYSIS
Check the voltage between P/J283-1 and P/J283-3 when the
Main Power is On.
Is there +24VDC between P/J283-1 and P/J283-3?
Go to step 3 Go to 6.2

FAN ACTUATING SIGNAL ANALYSIS
Disconnect P/J26 from the PWBA HKB26 MCU .
Use FAN TEST to check the Fan operation.
Check the voltage between P26-13 and P26-8.
Is there +3.3VDC between P26-13 and P26-8?
Replace the
Fan Assy
(RRP9.1.1)
Replace the
PWBA HKB26
MCU
(RRP10.1.7)
