A.2 Servo-controlled Humidifier Installation
Important: Before installing the Servo-controlled humidifier, check the part
number of your incubator temperature compartment probe. If the part number is
not 6600-0495-70X, you must order a new temperare probe before installing
the humidifier.
1 Remove the existing humidifier fill tray by sliding it out of the incubator base platform.*
2. Remove the two screws that hold the temperature sensor housing to the back wall
of the incubator hood. Discard the old housing and shims.
3. Remove and discard the P-clip that holds the temperature sensor cable to the
back of the incubator hood.
4. Remove the air filter cover on the back of the incubator by unscrewing the two
cord wraps.
5. Install the new humidifier sensor by feeding its cable from inside the hood through
the sensor hole in the hood back wall.
6. Insert the temperature sensor through the top hole in the new sensor housing and
secure it in place with the two new shims. See Figure A-1. Attach both sensors to the
hood back wall by securing the back half of the sensor housing to the outside of the
hood with the two screws provided, taking care not to over tighten the screws.
7. Attach both sensor cables to the back base of the incubator with the new P-clip
provided.
