8.3.3.2 Optimizing decurler settings
The following table shows the optimal decurler settings for the curl based on the test print.
• The way the sheet curl is depicted in the table does not indicate the degree of the curl.
• : This arrow indicates that the setting needs to be changed gradually. If an arrow is
not listed in the row, then the decurler setting does not have to be changed.
• Note on the column "Optimize lower print unit decurler":
For the Duplex, CustomTone Simplex and CustomTone Duplex print modes, the values
of the decurler for the lower print unit are only changed if there is a paper jam in the upper
photoconductor drum.
