3.5.3 Longstore procedure
When your printer is currently loaded with
Bio-Lactite ink
or
Low Solvent Ultra ink
, and you want to
transport it or leave the printer idle for a long period (± 2 weeks) it is highly recommended to longstore the
printer in order not to damage the heads and / or the complete ink system. This means that the complete ink
channel system needs to be billed with the corresponding cleaning liquid (in case your printer is loaded with
Bio-Lactite ink, longstore the printer with Bio-lactite cleaning. In case it is loaded with Low Solvent Ultra ink,
longstore it with Low Solvent Ultra cleaning liquid).

To perform a Longstore, order 4 cleaning cassettes. In case your printer is loaded with Bio-
Lactite ink, longstore the printer with Bio-lactite cleaning. In case it is loaded with Low Solvent
Ultra ink, longstore it with Low Solvent Ultra cleaning liquid.

Make sure to perform all necessary maintenance before starting the longstore procedure.
Step 1 :
Confirm that the operation panel is in the Normal mode.
Step 2 :
Press the [Menu] key.
Step 3 :
Press the [>] key.

The operation panel displays “Set 1: Mediatype”.
