Turning ON the Power
Making Copies
Confirm that the security key is in
the ON state, and then set the
power switch to the "I" side to turn
ON the power.
The message "Please wait. (Auto Start is possible.)" is
displayed for a short time. While this message is
displayed, you can set Auto Start (p. 2-5).
When the copier is ready to copy, the standard display
appears with the "Ready to copy." message.

(Start) key light will be in
orange.

The screen shown on the left is
hereinafter referred to as the
"standard display" throughout
this manual.

If a department ID and/or a
password are already registered,
the screen appears to prompt
you to enter the registered ID
number. Enter the correct
department ID number and
password. For details, see
"Entering the Department ID
Number and Passwords," on p.
2-4.

When the copier power is turned
OFF, any scanned image data is
erased. After the power is turned
ON, scan the image again if
necessary.
