Erasing Shadows from Copies

Select the original size, and then
press the [Next] key.

Press the [-] or [+] key to specify
the frame erase width.

Press the [OK] key.
The display returns to the Sp Feature screen, and the
[Frame Erase] key is highlighted.
The copier is now ready to make copies.
Original Frame Erase

If any frame erase width has
been specified in another Frame
Erase mode, that set value is
retained as the frame erase
width. Care must be taken.

To enter values in units of mm,
press the mm key.
❚
Press the [Adjust Each Dim.] key
to specify the top, bottom, left,
and right frame erase widths
independently of each other. For
details, see “To specify different
values for top, bottom, left, right
and center frame erase widths,”
on p. 5-11.

If the specified paper size differs
from the original size detected by
the Original Size Recognition
function, the frame erase will be
performed for the detected size.
❚
The original size designation
mode can be selected from two
types; A/B size and inch size.
The mode can be changed by
pressing the [Inch-Size] or
[A/B-Size] key.
