Settings
MSN Options
Under MSN Options, you can configure settings for MSN applications:
. Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > MSN Options .
2. Under MSN Options, you can configure settings for MSN applications.
Option Description
General To increase phone security, select Clear Saved Password .
Hotmail
Select E-mail delivery options , filtering level of junk mail, and choose whether to
activate Download new e-mail automatically .
Messenger Enter your display name when you sign in to MSN Messenger.
SMS
Select to activate SMS for receiving MSN Messenger messages when data
connection is temporarily unavailable.
Switch User Press the Switch User button to sign in with a new login name.
Owner Information
. Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Owner Information .
. On the
Identification
tab, enter your personal information.
. On the Notes tab, enter any additional text you want to display when the device is turned
on, such as: “Welcome!’
. On the Options tab, select which message will display when your O Xda Flame is turned
on.
Lock
For a more secure password, it must have at least 7 characters that are a combination of
uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and punctuation.
. Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Lock .
. To enable this function, select how long your mobile device must be turned off before the
password is required by tapping Prompt if device unused for .
. Select the type of password you want: Simple -digit or alphanumeric combination.
. Enter the password and:
• If your device is configured to connect to a network, use a strong password to help
protect network security.
• If you forget your password, you must hard reset before you can access your device.
This will erase all files and data created and programs installed.
• If you’ve used ActiveSync to create a backup file, all program data can be restored.
