The above operation completes creation of dial-up
connection.
• Select a user to permit to logon to Windows optionally.
• If your service provider asks you to specify IP and
DNS information, click [ ] (Set detailed
information) on the “
” (Create packet transmission dial-up
information) screen and register required information.
Then click [OK].
Information
• The access point name (APN) is information to be registered in
the FOMA phone connected to the personal computer, so if
you connect another FOMA phone to the personal computer,
you need to register the access point name (APN) again.
Specifying COM Port
To manually specify communication settings, you can
specify the COM Port number assigned to a FOMA phone
on a personal computer.
1. On the startup screen of the FOMA PC setup
software, click “ ” (Menu)

2. Select “COM ” (Specify COM port)
3. Click “COM” field

Select a COM port number

Click [OK]
The selected COM port is specified.
