Saving Data to File
The backup of the access point (APN) setup registered on
a FOMA phone and the save of the access point settings
under editing can be saved to file.
1. From the menu on “ APN ” (Access
point (APN) setup), click “ ” (File)

Reading Data from a File
Editing the access point (APN) setup saved in a personal
computer and writing the data into the FOMA phone is
allowed.
1. On the “ APN ” (Access point (APN)
setup) screen, click “ ” (File)

Writing Access Point (APN) Information to FOMA
Phone
The access point (APN) setup on screen can be written on
a FOMA phone.
1. On the “ APN ” (Access point (APN)
setup) screen, click “FOMA ”
(Write the setting to the FOMA phone)
The “ ” (Overwriting confirmation) screen
appears.
2. Click [ ] (Yes)
Reading Access Point (APN) Information from
FOMA Phone
Only the access point (APN) information can be read from
the FOMA phone connected to the personal computer.
1. On the “ APN ” (Access point (APN)
setup) screen, click “ ” (File)

Click
“FOMA ” (Acquire the setting
from the FOMA phone)
The “FOMA ” (Acquire the setting from the
FOMA phone) screen appears.
2. Click “OK”
Setting Dial-up Network
The following procedures set up a packet-transmission dial-
up connection on the basis of added/edited access point
name (APN), and write the settings on a FOMA phone.
1. Select an access point (APN) added/edited on the “
APN ” (Access point (APN) setup) screen

Click [ ] (Dial-up information)
The confirmation screen for writing FOMA phone
settings appears.
2. Click [ ] (Yes)
After completion of writing access point name (APN)
settings on a FOMA phone, clicking [OK] displays [
] (Create packet
transmission dial-up information) screen.
