After highlighting Settings the below tab appears on the screen:
In the Port position you need to define a type of an input, where text data will come. You can
choose from RS-232, RS-485 or 8 USB ports.
Caution:
If you do not define the port other tab settings are inactive.
When working with cash registers or
recorder
s you need to set the Settings according to their pro-
ducers’ recommendation.
Caution:
The below settings are correct for devices generating text in the form of ASCII signs. If
devices generate text in accordance with other protocols displaying text on the images is not possi-
ble.
In the Transaction Start position you need to define strings, which are interpreted as the start of the
line of transaction, by means of virtual keyboard. The string definition of the start of the transaction
needs to be done on the basis of the user’s manual of a peripheral devices or after consulting with
the producer.
When the transaction starts with different strings you need to tick off Any character position. For
this setting the transaction is inactive.
In the Transaction End position you need to define strings, which are interpreted as the end of the
line of transaction, by means of virtual keyboard. The string definition of the end of the transaction
needs to be done on the basis of the user’s manual of a peripheral devices or after consulting with
the producer.
In the Line Delimiter position you need to define strings, which are interpreted by system as string
end and enable to clearly format displayed text.
In the More Lines position you define additional lines from 0 to 10, which are saved by the multi-
plexer.
