4.3.12. OPTIONALLY CONNECTING ETHERCAT DEVICES
EtherCAT® is a registered trademark and patented technology, licensed by
Beckhoff Automation GmbH, Germany.
This functionality is an option and not necessarily part of your ASC.
If you want to read out measurement data and send configuration data via
EtherCAT then connect the EtherCAT devices to these interfaces.
Alternatively you may want read out measurement data and send configura-
tion data to the ASC by a PC. In this case use the Ethernet interface; see section
4.3.2 on page 32.
