1 - GENERAL INFORMATION
Machine Components
The Norwood Kwik-Pit uses an endless belt that travels in a frame for moving
grain or almost any granular product. The machine is portable for easy moving
and the intake hopper can fit under trucks or low storage facilities.
Normally, this conveyor is used to move material into another conveying
system.
A hydraulic motor, electric motor with wet kit can supply power to the
conveying belt and hydraulic functions located at the discharge end.
Material enters the system through the hopper platform after the hopper sides
are hydraulically raised and exits through the discharge spout.
The jack and hydraulic lift axles are used to raise or lower the frame. The
main components are shown above and on the previous pages in this manual.
