Chapter 5 Upgrading Symposium TAPI SP

Performing an Upgrade From an Earlier Release To 
Symposium TAPI SP 3.0

To upgrade to Sypmosium TAPI SP 3.0 perform the following tasks:

1

Log on to the TAPI server.

2

Shutdown telephony and acdproxy services.

3

Insert the Symposium TAPI Service Provider CD into the CD drive.

4

The Setup program automatically launches the wizard-driven installation 
application. If not, 

•

Select “Start ->Run”.

•

Type X:\setup.exe, where X is the CD drive.

•

Click OK to start the wizard-driven installation application.

The Setup program will detect the earlier version of Symposium TAPI SP and 
display the following dialog box:

Click Yes to indicate that you accept the terms of the software license.
