Access Codes
(

are one or more digit(s) that are dialed
by a console within the telephone system prior to dialing an
outside call. These codes determine access to features and trunk
facilities so that the Meridian 1 Attendant PC can route calls
correctly.
The following procedure shows how to define the access codes for
dialing outside numbers.
Defining access codes
1 Click Access Codes.

2 Click
Apply and then OK.
These digits make up the
access code.
Valid characters include:
0-9, T, and comma (,). All
other characters are
ignored.
Click the Help button to see information on
creating label tabs.
If the access number must have Touch
Tone DTMF, include a T immediately
before and after the portion that
requires the tones.
Prompts you for the new access code
Click the Delete button to remove
Add New Access Code
a selected access code.
Delete an Access Code
for an entry.
