The oven compensates for changes in outside temperature by controlling
the wattage output of the top and bottom IR lamps in each oven zone.
The zone wattage values will change to compensate for changes in the
outside ambient temperature. However, the programmed proportion
between the top and bottom IR lamps of each zone will remain the same.
To program wattage ratios, perform the following steps:
NOTE: A 0:0 or 1:1 programmed wattage ratio indicates even top and
bottom lamp intensity. No wattage ratio can be entered for a zero or
blank setpoint temperature.
1. To select the top IR lamps of a zone, touch the SETPT pad in the
WATTS column of the desired zone row once. The selected top zone
setpoint value highlights.
2. Touch ENTER to turn the lamp off. Touch the digit pads to enter the
desire wattage value, or enter 0 or 1 (for even lamp intensity). The
highlighted area displays the change in wattage.
3. To select the bottom IR lamps of a zone, touch the top zone SETPT
pad in the WATTS column of the desired zone row twice. The
selected bottom zone setpoint value highlights.
4. Touch ENTER to turn the lamp off. Touch the digit pads to enter the
desire wattage value, or enter 0 or 1 (for even lamp intensity).
Wattage entry occurs in the highlighted area.
The oven control system will not allow a profile to be saved in the library
until the oven’s temperature zones have stabilized (all green values).
The oven menu displays “Expert Teach System in progress....Please
wait” until stabilization occurs. Conveyor settings, zone temperature and
wattage ratios, and profile (ambient) temperature are save for each
programmed profile in the library.
Perform the following steps to save a programmed profile in the oven
library:
1. Touch the PART# pad.
2. Touch the digit pads to enter a part number (up to 12 digits) for the
programmed profile.
NOTE: The oven menu displays a profile temperature (pt) when the
programmed profile is saved in the library.
3. Touch the SAVE PROFILE pad to save the library.
