CAUTION: Static sensitive device. Proper handling
procedures must be followed. Failure to observe this caution
may result in equipment damage.
To install the monitor assembly, perform the following steps:
NOTE: Some oven are shipped with the monitor assembly installed.
1. Unpack the monitor assembly from its shipping container.
2. Open the E-stop panel at the exit end of the panel.
3. Attach the grounding strap to the E-stop cover.
4. See Figure 3-3 . Use a small screwdriver, pencil or similar tool to
push the notched card lock (16) on the lower card guide (15) to the
left. Align the lock with the unlock notch (17) on the guide.
5. Remove the touchscreen card (12) and video card (13) from the card
cage. Place the cards on a static free surface.
6. Connect the power connector (4) to the monitor assembly power
connector (5).
7. Route the touchscreen ribbon cable (3) and the video cable (2)
through the slot on the side of the fans and into the card cage.
8. Install the video card (13) in slot 2 of the card cage. Attach the video
cable (2) to the card.
9. Install the touchscreen card (12) in slot 1 of the card cage. Attach the
touchscreen ribbon cable (3) to the card.
10. To lock cards in place, use a small screwdriver, pencil or similar tool
to push the notched card lock (16) to the right.
11. Make sure that the video cable (2) does not interfere with the cooling
fans.
12. Use the screws (6) to install the monitor assembly (1) on the top of
the oven.
