Problem Possible Cause Corrective Action
5. Loss of 5.25 VDC voltage Loss of 120 VAC to power supply
board See Figures 6-1 and 6-2. Check for 120
VAC at power supply board terminal
block. If voltage is not present, perform
problem number 3. If voltage is present,
turn oven off and check for blown power
supply fuse or open wiring.
Bad power supply board or wiring Turn oven off. Pull controller cards
away from card cage backplane about
2.5 cm (1 in.). Check for a short in wires
1099 and 1119 and power supply board.
Replace as necessary.
If no short is found, turn on oven.
Measure for 5.25 VDC at power supply
board’s output. If no voltage is
measured, replace board.
Bad controller card Turn oven off. Install controller cards.
Turn oven on and measure for 5.25 VDC
at the power supply board’s output. If
voltage is present, check for a short on
5 VDC input of each controller card.
Replace shorted controller card(s).
WARNING: Hot! Risk of burns. Wear heat-protective clothing,
safety goggles with side shields and/or heat-protective gloves.
