Using the Boot Manager to Install Nokia IPSO
Use the install command to install Nokia IPSO. The syntax of the command
is:
install
For complete installation procedures, see the appropriate version of release
notes.
Note
Using the install command to perform a full installation deletes the
existing IPSO image on the
IP560
.
To install a new copy of the Nokia IPSO kernel
1.
At the boot manager command prompt, enter:
BOOTMGR[0]>
install
If you used the passwd command to protect this command with a
password, see
“Protecting the Boot Manager with a Password”
on
page 89, the boot manager prompts you for your password before
allowing you to execute the install command.
2.
Enter the information the install command requests (your system IP
address, the server IP address, and other information).
3.
Reboot the IP560.
