Replacing Power Supplies on the Nokia 500i Gateway

Nokia 500i Installation Guide

This condition is normal, and the unit meets all safety standards that the 
gateway complies with. This condition does not affect the performance of the 
gateway. To cool the power supply unit down, turn it on by using the power 
switch on the power supply unit to activate the integrated cooling fan.

Replacing an AC Power Supply on the Nokia 500i 
Gateway

The power supplies are autosensing and can accept input voltages between 
85 VAC and 264 VAC. The power supply output is regulated to a tolerance of 
± 5 percent of the specified output voltage.

To install or replace an AC power supply

1.

Locate the power supply on the back of the 500i gateway and the two 
screws that secure it.

2.

Turn off the power to the power supply to be removed.

3.

Loosen the two retaining screws.

4.

Remove the grounding lugs.
