6. Maintenance
ENGLISH
Check the counter knife every time you
sharpen the rotor knives. If the cutting
difficulty remains after sharpening, it is likely
that the counter knife is very worn, damaged
or unregulated with the knives.
To adjust the knives with the counter knife,
proceed as described in item
6.5.
Whenever necessary, reverse or immediately
change the counter-knife as follows:
PROCEDURE:
1.
Remove the 4 bolts (A) and the cover (B);
2.
Loosen the tensioner bolt (C);
3.
Remove the chain (D);
4.
Remove the sprocket (H);
5.
Remove the bolts (J) and the cover (K);
6.
Remove the two gears (L);
7.
Remove the bottom (M);
The use of PPE (Personal Protective
Equipment) is mandatory during
operation, maintenance and adjustment
of the machine. Wear suitable gloves and
eye protection. Take special care when
handling knives and counter knife, these
components have sharp areas that can
cause injury if handled without proper
protection and care.
6.1- How to replace the rotor counter knife
ATTENTION!
Turn off the tractor and remove
the ignition key before starting
the following procedure.
